Real Murder Mystery, can you help?

My brother died in his sleep at the age of 7, nearly 30 years ago. no cause of death was ever found. There were 2 autopsies done, but one autopsy report 'dissapeared' never to be seen or heard from again. the 2nd report which i got from the cemetary- isnt even half complete. I have taken the report to several doctors over the eyars and they have all said the same thing- its a bogus report. half the stuff they are supposed to do they never did. the cause of death was listed as "adnel virus 7" well that means " a sinus cold" which, i might add, you dont die from. Plus, he was at the end of his cold. ( you can die from pneumonia etc but not a sinus cold) no legitimate cause of death was ever found and for nearly 30 years we have all wondered why. Are there any docs or med ppl out there who can help me find out what really happend? We live in Canada, dont know if that matters or not. 7 year old boys just dont die in thier sleep for no reason.

wow that's really tough. If he was beaten, there would of been signs, of bruises, etc...was he on the medication of hydrocodon for the sinus infection?


could he of been suffocated...? Only signs of that would of been lack of oxygen to his brain...which would of been a good reason why they said it was the sinus cold that did it. And most of the organs would of probably went at the same time that way...although I'm no expert, and that's just my educated guess...I am so sorry for your loss...I know how the *not knowing* can eat at you.
Reply:I am no doctor, but if this sinus infection went into his lungs or he had asthma, he could have died from suffocation due to pulmonary distress. I know that wasn't in the coroners report, but a possible lead.
Reply:yes, they can die in there sleep for no reason. maube god decided it was time to go to heaven. maybe he wasnt meant to be on this earth for more than 7 years?...... oh well..... hopefully when YOU get to heaven youll see him again. :)
Reply:i'm not a dr but without more information no doctor could possibly tell you, you need to find someone that is willing to investigate this. do you have a theory?
Reply:Unless there is a chance you can talk to the person who did one of the original autopsies, (although after 30 years they might be dead themselves) or you have the skeleton exhumed (assuming he was buried) and find some sort of damage to the bones that would indicate foul play, it will be very, very difficult to uncover any evidence at this point.





There's always a chance that your brother may have sufficated while sleeping. If his mouth was obstructed and his nose was stuffy from the sinus cold, it's possible.

Reply:You can die from a sinus cold. Especially if he was very sickly. Especially if he's in Canada -- fighting of a sickness in the winter would be a very hard thing to do.





There's no real reason for them to make a bogus report besides being lazy and overworked. They weren't out to murder your brother or probably cover anything up. It's not like he's a millionaire or a celebrity.





This might not be the answer you're looking for. But no one can ever bring him back, and things can't be the way they were. Sometimes people die at early ages to prevent them from living lives of suffering. Sometimes people have done all the good that was required from them during that life.





I'm sorry that your life was touched by death, and that he died so young.

Reply:First of all let me say how DEEPLY sorry I am for your loss. Death, no matter what age, or circumstances, or how ever much time has passed is extremely difficult to go through. I lost my younger sister just 6 months ago. She died in her sleep as well. She died of something she had never had before, so it is posssible for things like that to just happen. We can't change what happened, all we can do is go on with our lives, but if you believe that something really fowl did happen you could always hire a private investigator to look into it. I will pray for your grief, and give you the comfort that you will see your brother again someday! He's in heaven with my sister! God bless you and your journey!
